The West is full of laws that restrict human freedom, but these are accepted and defended by the vast majority of people because they think that they played a role in passing those laws. They elected their representatives, presidents, and assorted public officials after all  Of course, this is not true, those who control wealth and horde it elect presidents, these same people make sure their candidate makes laws that suit them. So, you see, its just another form of dictatorship, a capitalist dictatorship.  There i s an element of democracy, of course, in a country that idolises ignorance, sports and religious fanaticism like the United States, it tries to make the stupid feel equal to the rest of us rational people of normal intelligence, after all, equality is a central tenant of that republic. The silence of the Arabs on Gaza, from officialdom and from some people, in fact many, many people, is because they can see only their own individual tragedies, tragedies they place squarely at the feet of 'political Islam' and the violent brutal methods this political military construct uses.  Some Arab media in fact justify Israel's genocide in Gaza and blame the Palestinians.  They blame Hamas for fighting an unequal war; they question why Hamas chose Ramadan to start a fight with Israel. They forget that it was Israel's ludicrous accusation of Hamas that it was behind the kidnapping and killing of the three settler youths that raised tensions to boiling point and prompted an already imprisoned  and frustrated  population in Gaza to decide to make a push to break the siege once and for all. There is little doubt that information is a powerful tool in any war and the Gaza war is no exception. Propaganda, the word itself conjures up definite images and thoughts that mould opinions. Each side in a conflict accuses the other side's media of being propagandists and twisting facts to suit their military aims. In our own struggle for liberation from an occupier, an occupier of both lands and minds, we have been lashed by an incessant barrage of pro Israel propaganda, some barefaced and unabashed, others masquerading as sympathetic to the Palestinian struggle, shedding crocodile tears but still blaming Hamas, the universal punching bag of choice for the pro Western propagandists. After all, Hamas is perfect for that role, it was hated by many Gazans when it ruled there, its strict Islamist stance means it is anti liberal and anti personal freedoms, so it's little wonder then that all the young and hip Arabs would line up to hate Hamas. I remember a time before Twitter, a time before touchscreen phones and people walking around like Zombies taping away on them mechanically, writing the most inane stuff. I remember a time when stupidity was a private matter, when most people had the good sense to stay quiet, when they kept their insane ideas rattling around in their heads to themselves, now each of us is a broadcaster and an editor, each one of us struts on social media with arrogant self involvement, each ad ding to the universal state of ignorance, adding to the virtual pool of half truths and half lies floating around this virtual world threatening to engulf us all, that has in fact engulfed us all. The winners are not the human rights campaigners, not the educators, not the students, the winners are the propagandists in the pay of their governments' secret services, those who revel in the state of mass ignorance and arrogance that exemplifies the social media sphere.

The Palestine struggle is the original righteous cause, the only one that legitimises itself, it needs no support or recognition from Arabs or anyone, the brave resistance fighters keep the Palestinian revolution alive, keep the citizens of the illegal State of Israel living in fear, as any criminal on the run should, they keep the rockets flying, they reject the Egyptian terms of capitulation and surrender  and seem to invite, nay tempt and even dare the so-called IDF to launch a ground assault.  In the past eight days I was truly impressed by the capabilities of the resistance, it has done a fine job, kept the sirens wailing in Israel, so not one of Israel's people forgets that they share in the guilt of the murder of a nation. Palestine will rise again, Zionism is doomed to fail, to end in the trash bin of history along with Da3esh, which is a creation of the Mossad, and along with every fat, lazy, corrupt Arab dictator.  How dare anyone blame the resistance for the deaths
