On pleasure

The lucky few on this Earth are dumb, I mean really dumb, and they have only one thought on their mind and seek only one thing: pleasure. The unlucky ones are the rest of us who ask and inquire and search for answers and meaning that do not exist, filling our lives with worry, anxiety and pain. There is no meaning to it all, only the pursuit of scratching that itch and the lucky among us live out their lives drunk or drugged to high heaven. The unlucky ones have reality to contend with and to theorise about, how lucky are we!

We're not in a race, nor are we being tested to make sure our moral stature and character are suitable, nor is life a resume and list of achievements, nor is it about procreation oddly enough. Kids are rarely a reward, they are more often a punishment for not using protection, a tax we pay for all the fun we had. If you're alive you better live with all you've got, have as much pleasure as your wallet and fitness level can stand, go all out, because that is what life is all about, being happy and for most of us happiness is the pursuit of gluttonous pleasure, the little things in life that make it worth getting up in the morning. So, go for it, the world is your playground!
